Anonymous said: Hi love the blog. I am 14 right now and have only been dancing since i was 11 and my new school had dance lesson as part of the curriculum. I am part of a dance company open to students from my school. I really love dancing and my teacher tells me i am good at it but then i see girls who have been dancing since they were 3 and my confidence drops. Do you have any advice to help me with this? Thanks :)
One of the hardest things for me is also comparing myself to others. PLEASE TRY TO AVOID THIS! You are never going to be exactly like someone else, so don’t bother dwelling on that fact…if you work hard and dedicate yourself you will be the absolute best that you can, and that’s what matters. Chin up, lovely! xoxo
There is a definite difference between dancing and feeling something.
Dancing can be very rewarding but embodying a dance and just feeling each movement is worth much more.
So let it consume you. Let the movement be you.
Literally most perfect video ever.

Hey ladies and gents! One of the girls that I used to go to highschool with has been CHOSEN to play on the USA Softball team! Jess has always been an outstanding athlete with dreams to play for Team USA, and now she has the opportunity to follow her dreams. Jess needs help funding her trip, and posted the other day on her Facebook page that she is selling old barbie dolls and other valuables to try and pay for her trip. Both the Amsterdam and Italy tournaments cost $4,000.00 each, not including airfare! Please donate if you can and reblog this post to help this deserving girl achieve her dream!
The link to her fund is below!
Every little bit, even if it’s only a few dollars! Please donate what you can and raise awareness!
